Gene Slade started in the HVAC trade at 11 years old, riding along on his father’s service trucks. He spent the next three decades running calls, selling jobs and hiring technicians. He built multiple HVAC companies to eight-figure revenue.
He founded Lead Ninja in 2014 after watching skilled technicians lose jobs they should have won. They understood the equipment. Nobody had taught them the conversation.
Gene built the EGSPA Sales Method from real service calls. It teaches technicians to ask questions, get permission and present honest options without pressure. Lead Ninja has since run more than 1,525 trainings for HVAC, plumbing and electrical companies across the United States.
Gene hosts the Blackbelt Sales Podcast. He has six sons.
